F-15 Eagle

Pictures of a Philip Avonds F-15 from our 
US customer Raymond E. Davis.
The F-15 is in primer, but the orange markings are 
those of #0287, NASA's spin test prototype.
This F-15 has a split exhaust ducting made by 
Jet Tech Switzerland.

This plane is powered with a AMT Netherlands Pegasus engine.

Scale (but non working) 'turkey feathers'. 
  The kit nozzles were removed, new ones molded, 
 and detailed with litho aluminum, 
  and stainless steel tape.

The main retract mechanism and struts are scratch built of titanium. 
The wheel hub, scissors, and half yoke are from JHH.

 The nose gear is from JHH, with detail, lights, added. 
Dry transfers from Aeroloft.

Tanks from Air Magic, tires from DuBro. 
 Note the scale-door closure, 
     which is Ultra Precision controlled.

This model has a fully detailed scratch cockpit and working 
venting / louvers.  Pilot from Killer cockpits.
